Timetable

The laboratory took place over the course of four days. During the first day, the conveners introduced the terms of the laboratory to the participants. We carried out deep listening exercises and introduced the participants to the basics of field recording technology. On the second day, participants visited specific sites in order to produce sound recorded material according to the terms chosen for the laboratory. The third day we focused on the editing and post-production processes of the recorded material. On the fourth day, the laboratory offered a public presentation of the materials to the rest of the conference participants. The presentations were formatted as a moderated discussion.
