Sonic Domesticity: Intimacy and Private Life in Santiago de Cuba

 

 

This theme considers the intimate spaces of Santiago de Cuba. Intimacy, in the context of this laboratory, refers to spaces that are characterised by their individualised, personal, and subjective character. Intimate sites can also be characterised by their degree of privacy and personalisation. Participants in this experiment will be exploring methodologies whereby we can assess intimate aspects of the sonic experience.
